Sets

Your progress through each set you've studied — whether you picked it yourself or a teacher assigned it.

How your progress works

Every word moves through four stages as you study it:

  • New — you haven't started it yet.
  • Learning — you've seen it, but it isn't sticking reliably yet.
  • Learned — you've recalled it correctly enough times that it counts as known.
  • Locked in — you've remembered it correctly across a long stretch of time, so it's likely to stay with you.

Words you get right come back less often; words you miss come back sooner, so your time goes to the words you still need. This is spaced repetition.

"Locked in" isn't a button you click — it's earned by remembering a word over weeks, so your progress reflects what you actually know.
